You may be eligible for help to install room in roof insulation. This is when a home has an attic which is converted into bedroom. It is an effective way to reduce heat loss. Like most measures you need to be eligible to install, this includes being a low income household, part of a vulnerable group or claiming certain benefits. You can check if you are eligible by contacting us or filling out a form. Someone from our team will be in touch and we can discuss and check your eligibility. You can also be eligible if your EPC rating is in band D,E,F or G.
Once an installer has done the work, they will ensure the work carried out is to the customers satisfaction. The installer will then ensure everything has been carried out accordingly and clear up after themselves. You can then use the room as normal.

This measure is beneficial as it reduces your energy bills by containing and limiting heat from escaping. The process is similar to that of Underfloor Insulation and Loft insulation

Energy suppliers are still insulating lofts for free through the Eco Scheme however there are requirements in place to be eligible. Qualified householders include those who receive a certain type of benefit or being a member of a vulnerable group. The home EPC rating is also a factor in whether or not you qualify for this measure.
Home owners in receipt of qualifying benefit or any family member who resides in the property who claim benefits are eligible.
